This Privacy Policy explains how Ruqyah Worldwide collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, join an online session, complete our Symptom Check, or contact us for support.

1. Who we are

Ruqyah Worldwide is a centre for Qur'an-based ruqyah, focusing on spiritual healing and protection in line with the Qur'an and Sunnah. This website is built and hosted using GoDaddy’s Websites + Marketing platform.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information that is reasonably needed to provide our services and run this website. This may include:

• Your name and contact details (such as email address and phone number) when you book a session, subscribe, or contact us.
• Basic booking details (such as preferred session date and time).
• Technical information collected automatically by our website host, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and performance monitoring.

Through the Symptom Check we collect health and religious information with your explicit consent. See section 11, Symptom Check.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information only for clear, limited purposes, including:

• Managing bookings and sending you confirmations or reminders.
• Responding to your questions and support requests.
• Sending you emails or messages you have actively requested or opted into (for example, session updates or educational content).
• Maintaining the security and performance of this website.

We do not use your personal information to create profiles for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

4. Payments and third‑party processors

Payments for sessions or products are processed through trusted third‑party providers (for example GoDaddy’s integrated payments system, Stripe, or Acuity Scheduling, depending on how you complete your booking). We do not store your full card details on our own systems.

These payment providers process your data in line with their own privacy policies. When you make a payment, you will see their name on the checkout page.

Group Ruqyah membership payments are processed by Stripe. To run your membership, your name and email address are used to register you for our Zoom sessions and to send your membership emails, and are kept in our secure membership records. We keep these records while your membership is active and afterwards only as long as needed for accounting.

5. How we share your information

We only share your information when it is necessary and lawful, such as:

• With our website platform provider (GoDaddy) and integrated tools that help us run the site and bookings.
• With Google and WhatsApp (Meta), which store and deliver Symptom Check answers on our behalf (see section 11).
• If we are required to do so by law or to respond to valid legal requests.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for marketing.

6. Data security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. This includes using secure platforms, access controls, and keeping software up to date.

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed:

• To provide the service you requested (for example, your booking).
• To meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete it or anonymise it safely.

7. Cookies and tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Understand how visitors use the site (for example, basic analytics).

9. Children

Under-18s may only use our services with a parent or guardian, who must complete or approve any forms. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, delete that information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

If the changes are important, we may also highlight them on the website.

11. Symptom Check

What we collect: your name, contact details, age range, country and city, and your answers about your health (physical, mental, sleep, and for women monthly cycles), your family and marriage, your home, and your religious practice and experiences.

Why: so a member of our team can personally review your answers and send you an initial assessment and next steps on WhatsApp. A person reviews every answer. Nothing is decided automatically.

Our legal basis: your explicit consent, given by the tick-box at the end of the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing contact@ruqyahworldwide.com or messaging +44 7448 708269.

Who sees it: only our team. Your answers are stored using Google (Forms, Sheets and Gmail), and we contact you through WhatsApp (Meta). These companies process the data on our behalf and may store it outside the UK, including in the USA, under legal safeguards. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Children and other adults: a parent or guardian must complete or approve the form for anyone under 18. If you complete it about another adult, we will ask that person for their own consent before reviewing it.

Your safety: if your answers suggest that you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, we may contact you urgently and, where needed, share the minimum necessary information with emergency services.

How long we keep it: if you don't go on to book with us, we delete your answers 6 months after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep them while you are with us and delete them 24 months after your last session.

Your rights: you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time.
